About US
Art For Real was started in an effort to make contemporary art more accessible;
to bring more people into the art world and to encourage the viewing of art
with a more critical eye. We believe that the way to do this is through dialogue
- dialogue between art lovers and especially between those who don't normally
consider themselves art critics.
We believe in encouraging the review of art in non "art-speak"
terms. Through this approach viewers are often able to delve deeper into contemporary
work. The critique starts with a review and continues through the posting of follow-up comments.
Art For Real provides this free platform for
everyone... so spread the word and expect to see us advertising the site
at the next opening you attend. And whether you loved it or hated it, or were somewhere in between - review it - on Art for Real!
